On June 17, Dr. Boyd pediatrician, child and community health advocate, and Director of Strategy and Equity with California Children’s Trust briefed the United States Congress, House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Subcommittee on Health on the racial health inequities of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Boyd provided data on the effects of racism on health, the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on Black America, and offered compelling solutions.
